Governance

Who sees, changes and decides what. Set up once.

Leaders see their own department, people development sees the whole company, the works council approves inside the system. You set the rules once, Skillties sticks to them.

  • Every right on its own, with a scope.
  • What the works council must approve waits for it.
  • Your categories, your data, your workspace.

iIn sync with your IT

Users and groups sync from your existing IT systems, such as Microsoft Entra ID. No creating users by hand.

Your reporting lines decide who may do what.

Rights over others, such as seeing skills or requesting feedback, follow the hierarchy from your directory. Further rights like assigning skills profiles are given through roles, for example to people development.

Questions

What HR, IT and works councils usually ask

Short answers. We are happy to go deeper in a call.

Can an admin see and decide everything?

Admins manage all settings and assign roles. They do not decide on requests: only the works council can approve or reject.

What happens to rights when someone changes jobs or leaves?

Rights belong to roles and groups. Anyone who leaves a group loses its rights right away. Restricting never waits for a request.

Can HR manage roles without IT?

Yes. The “Roles & rights” right is all it takes. Whether it stays with IT or HR gets it is your call.

Who sees feedback and comments?

You set that in the feedback settings: only the person, their manager, the team or the whole workspace. If the topic needs approval, every change goes to the works council as a request.

What does an external trainer see?

Only what their role allows in each company. One company’s private skills and profiles never appear in another workspace.

Can we bring our existing taxonomy?

Yes. You create up to 30 categories with their values, flat or as a tree with up to three levels, and assign skills and profiles in the Skills Hub, one by one or several at once.
